Casa Charwil is located close to Playa Dorada beach and is a 3 bed 2 bath villa in the area of Costa Papagayo. The lounge and master bedroom are air conditioned and the second double bedroom has an overhead ceiling fan.
The villa has a large front gated drive. The private 8 x 4m electrically heated swimming pool with safety rail sits in a high walled garden at the rear of the property. There is a built-in stone bbq and outside seating.
Our villa is furnished to a high standard and is a family orientated villa which includes a highchair, travel cot and blankets, childrens loo seat and step. There is a good selection of plastic cutlery, plates and cups in the kitchen and a good selection of children’s books, DVDs and toy box are provided. The air-conditioning also provides heat and there are a number of fans and heaters provided for your use.
A security safe is fitted for your holiday valuables.
The front door which is fitted with an entryphone system to gain access, leads to a long hallway from which you will reach all of the other rooms. The floors are in light marble and an indoor garden brings more light.
The master bedroom which is air-conditioned, is en-suite with marble bathroom and shower over bath. Next to the bed are bedside tables, fitted wardrobes and a patio door leads straight to poolside.
Back towards the entrance is another marble bathroom with shower cubicle and because this is a family orientated villa we even have a childs loo seat and step in this bathroom.
The second bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, bedside tables with lamps and is fitted with an overhead ceiling fan. This is next to the third bedroom which is a dedicated childrens room. In the childrens room are two sets of bunk beds with childrens duvet covers, and bright decoration. A cot and high chair are provided. There is a toy box and a selection of books.
The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, hob and extractor fan, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. It is very well equipped and there are also, plastic knives, forks, plates and cups for the safety of the children. The Solano (utility room) which is attached to the kitchen is roofed and has a skylight. There is a washing machine and dishwasher, iron, ironing board and hot water boiler. Also, there is a washing line and drying rack.
The lounge which is air-conditioned is bright and airy with patio doors to the pool side, gorgeous sea-side paintings and flatscreen TV with UK channels and DVD player are provided also a fitted games console. A CD player and discs are provided also along with a good selection of books and dvd’s and for those rainy days, which are few and far between, there are playing cards and board games. There is also a dining room table and chairs, and a high chair is provided.
Next to poolside are six sun-loungers and a well established garden planted with various pretty flowers and cactus. There is a built in stone barbeque which should satisfy your al-fresco cooking needs and an outside dining table and chairs. A set of steps leads up to the roof terrace where there is another small table and chairs for you to enjoy the mountain views.
For your information, the property is situated on one level with a sloping front path to gain access to the front door. There is one small step down to the swimming pool area and there are steps which lead up to a roof terrace. The property overall is easily accessible for wheelchair users and door openings are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair.
Car Hire is not essential as the nearest beach, supermarket, bars and restaurants are approximately 20 minute walk away but is recommended if you would like to tour the rest of the island. The airport (Arrecife) is approximately 30 minutes drive and taxis or airport transfers are very easy and reasonably priced.
